Storyline:
In 1841, Solomon Northup is
an independent African-American man
who works as a violinist, lives in Saratoga
Springs, New York with his wife and two
children. Two white men, Brown and
Hamilton, offer them short-term jobs as a
musician if he accompanied them to
Washington, D.C. Once they come to
Northup and distribute it in a slave pen
run by a man named Burch, he will visit,
however. Northup announced that he is an
independent man, only with wooden
paddles and then badly beaten him with a
leather belt.
